CARTER HOUSE

D and J had a, three-season small camp on a beaver pond that they wanted to turn into their year-round dream home, so we worked with them to make use of the existing foundation, and built a comfortable, high-performance home with a very light touch on the surrounding environment.

Our design focused on creating long, calming, lateral lines with the shallow-pitched metal roofs, and concentrating fenestration on the sides of the house that face their pond.
