MILL 180

Our inaugural project, and perhaps our most unusual, Mill 180 Park was conceived as an indoor sanctuary that mimicked some of the qualities of an outdoor park, without subjecting attendees to whatever the weather may have in store.

The layout of the park is a constellation of vignettes, held together by broad swathes of distributed light and sound. We collaborated with sound artist and composer Stephan Moore to create an array of individually addressable speakers, concrete artist Michael Karmody to build entertainment features and wall panels, and built custom furniture to outfit a dining area.
